Welcome to Le Pouf Art
Le Pouf Art is a woman/minority owned gallery and studio space of portrait artist Tafy LaPlanche. It houses original artwork along with limited edition prints. Private studio visits and showings are available by appointment only. However, walk-ins to view the space and see the artist at work, is always encouraged.
Le Pouf Art also offers portrait commissions by the artist done in graphite or digital. The space itself offers a rustic setting but has a vibrant vibe. All are welcomed!

I'm an Afro Latina portrait artist based in NYC and Savannah, Georgia. I create unique and vibrant portraits for unique and vibrant people! Embracing who they are.
My story of becoming a portrait artist is a rather unique one. It involves a dispute over Nintendo 64, not speaking Mandarin, a bee sting and an Italian grandma.
